1. Who we are

2. What we collect

• Website addresses you submit for scanning: the URLs you enter are fetched and checked automatically - this is the core function of the tool.
• Email address: only collected if you pay for a report, so we can send you the PDF. Free scans don't require an email.
• Source code (Code Review tool only): if you use the separate code-review feature, the ZIP file you upload is scanned for common security issues. This is a distinct feature from the website scanner above.
• IP address: used briefly to enforce fair-use limits (e.g. how many free scans you can submit per hour) and for bot protection. It isn't stored as a permanent visit log.
• Bot protection: our forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell real visitors apart from automated bots. Cloudflare processes some technical signals from your browser to do this (see Cloudflare's privacy policy).
• Essential cookies only: a session cookie required for the site to function. We do not use marketing, advertising, or tracking cookies.

3. Why we process this data

We scan the URLs you submit to provide the service you asked for. We collect your email, when given, to deliver the report you paid for. We process IP addresses based on our legitimate interest in preventing abuse of the free scanning service.

4. How long we keep it

Orders, scan results, and generated reports are kept as your order record, so you can return to download a report you've already paid for. If you'd like your data deleted sooner, contact us at info@quortektech.com and we'll remove it, unless we're required to keep it for a legitimate reason such as accounting records of a payment.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell your data. Payment is handled directly by Stripe, our payment processor - we never see or store your full card details ourselves. The websites you submit for scanning are fetched directly by our server; we don't send them to any other third party.

6. Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your data, and to object to how it's processed. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@quortektech.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority.

7. Where your data is stored

This tool is hosted on servers located in the European Union (France). If this changes in a way that affects you, we'll update this policy and, where required, notify you directly.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
